Supports winter seasonal wellness!

Proprietary blend: Echinacea Augustifolia root, Echinacea Purpurea root, Lomatium, OSHA root, Dandelion root, Licorice root, Elderberry, Yerba Santa leaf, Wild Cherry bark, Ginger root, Oregon Grape root, and organic grain alcohol.

Historical Uses:

  • Echinacea Augustifolia root - Echinacea has been found to support the immune system. Several constituents in echinacea team together to increase the production and activity of white blood cells, lymphocytes, and macrophages. Echinacea also increases reduction of interferon, an important part of the body's response to viral infections such as colds and flu.
  • Lomatium - Lomatium is currently used as an antiviral remedy to treat colds, coughs, hay fevers, and infections. The herb is also known for boosting the immune system and reducing inflammation.
  • Osha root - Osha root helps clear mucus from the sinuses and lungs by increasing expectoration; this relieves congestion and makes breathing easier. Osha root also increases blood circulation to the lungs, which increases dilation during constriction.
  • Dandelion root - used for hundreds of years in the treatment of liver, gallbladder, kidney and joint problems. Dandelion is also a rich source of vitamins and minerals. The leaves and roots have a very high content of vitamin A as well as moderate amounts of vitamin D, vitamin C, various B vitamins, iron, silicon, magnesium, zinc, and manganese.
  • Licorice root - Licorice root is used as a demulcent (soothing, coating agent) in the digestive and urinary tracts, to help with coughs, and to soothe sore throats. It also has antiviral properties and is viewed as a potent antioxidant.
  • Elderberry - Native Americans used the plant for infections, coughs and skin conditions. Several studies have found that elderberry extract is effective in treating influenza.
  • Yerba Santa leaf - Found to alleviate excess mucous and is an excellent remedy for a host of respiratory problems, which include bronchitis, coughs, colds, bacterial pneumonia, asthma, and tuberculosis. Containing flavones, it is also known as an antioxidant, boosting the whole system and counteracting fatigue.
  • Wild Cherry bark - Contains cyanogenic glycosides, particularly prunasin. These glycosides, once broken apart in the body, act by quelling spasms in the smooth muscles lining bronchioles, thereby relieving coughs.
  • Ginger root - used for thousands of years in both Chinese and Indian medicines, ginger has been used for abdominal bloating, coughing, vomiting, diarrhea, and inflammatory problems such as arthritis.
  • Oregon Grape root - Oregon grape is also useful to treat colds, flu, and numerous infections.
